The home team is responsible for providing technicians that are approved by the NFL Football Operations department. If the visiting team travels with its technician, they will be located with the technician assigned to the visitor’s sideline.The medical GDA team consists of ATC Spotters and Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultants (UNCs). This team may stop the game for a medical timeout at no charge to either team, if necessary.
